Default Anyone sold a gun to Numrich?

Numrich has a program where you can send in a gun and they evaluate it for usable parts and offer payment. If you like their offer you take it; if not, they return the gun.

Anybody done this, and if so, how was the experience?

Before I decided to send my 37 back to Smith (cracked frame), I emailed Numrich. Told him that the gun was essentially new, so rate it that way, and tell me what you'd offer assuming the condition as-described. I got a swift and polite response that he was good-to-go on J-frame parts, with a guesstimate of about $47, if memory serves. OTOH, if you try to BUY those parts from them, you will spend somewhere north of $300.
