The cucumber crop is in overdrive right now, so to save them, I've been doing some pickling.
We now have more kosher dills than the Vlasick bird so I decided to can some relish. Did a batch of sweet; real good but boring. Did another batch with some Tabasco peppers thrown in. Very good. This last batch may be the best. Made the sweet recipe with some Tabasco peppers AND a bunch of Banana peppers. It's brewing now, but I think it's going to put the Bam! on a hot dog or Brat.

The wife even likes the spicy relish and she doesn't like hot, spicy stuff.
If anyone is interested, I can try and post the recipe in the 'sticky section'. It's pretty easy to make.
