BBC Reports on reason for some web slowdowns

This feature was on BBC reporting on the problems that old server hardware can cause. I have noticed a few sites I like taking a longer time to load all content.

Its a router issue not server. And its software not hardware, and not a bug just a default setting.
Some larger Cisco routers had a default limit of 512,000 routes in the BGP table. Early last week there were 513,000 routes. Basically they just have to change the default setting and reboot. But its not the easiest thing in the world to coordinate a reboot of border routers even if they are redundant.
