I've become a little concerned that I may need to cut back on coffee and tea. I drink maybe 5-7 cups a day, combined.
I'm concerned mainly about sugar consumption. And I may have a ginger ale the same day.
I'm not diabetic, but don't want to become so. My late father was a diabetic. No, he wasn't overweight, and neither am I.
Also, are you aware that coffee is thought to keep Alzheimer's and other dementia at bay, and promotes heart health?
Tea contains strong antioxidants that kill free radical cells that can cause diabetes, heart trouble, and cancer. And I like it!
It has about half the caffeine of coffee, but that may or may not be what helps coffee to provide its own benefits.
So, how many cups on an average day do YOU drink of each?
Do you drink tea in a cup at all, or just as an iced beverage?
And how much of your intake is decaffeinated?
