I hope at least they were 8 feet off the floor and hidden behind the Playboy and Penthouse magazines.
After all, it's for the children.

We can buy them in NY, but you have to register them with the state. NY has very strict magazine restrictions you know.

Maybe a sign that things are shifting a bit? That folks in Hollywierd are starting to wake up?
One could only hope.
California was a great state in the 70s. Then the hippies took over.

Were soccer moms covering the eyes of their children and running away in a panic? Aren't those gun mags required to have trigger locks? I hope no animals were harmed in the production of that magazine.

Well the paper is recyclable but
probably not worth buying due to the ten page limit. We can only have ten in a magazine.

My thinking too. Interesting selection. No Guns and Ammo or Handgunner....looks like they are catering to the prepper of home defense person...so yes, maybe people are waking up a bit around here. After All, we do prepare for earthquakes with water, food, batteries etc....so a gun shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

I once lived up in the SF Bay area. During a Homeowners Association meeting I was asked, since I'm LE, how many days worth of food, water, etc. do I stockpile in case of earthquake or other calamity? With a straight face I said, "None. I carry a gun, so I'll just come and take yours." The shocked look on everyone's face was priceless! I smiled and said I was kidding and told them 3 days is about right.

A friend asked me the same question about buying Gold and I gave him the same response as you did...forgot to tell him I was kidding.
Wonder if those magazine were in the Adult section like they used to do with cassette tapes? Stuff like that is too scary for the children to see...........

Well, not the tofu part, but someone DID produce a gun on a 3D printer. I don't know if it was operational or not. Plastic firing pin and barrel??? That makes the MIM parts debate kind of moot.

As we speak, a team of geeks are working, in a nondescript building, located on California Ave. are working on mixing sprouts and toner together.

In western Washington I’ve not been in a grocery store that did not have a selection of gunzines. The majority give glowing reviews to anything new and debate whether a .25 auto or 12 gauge is better for home defense but more substantial ones like Handloader are usually offered.
In 2000 while I was paying for one the clerk ask if I’d buy her pistols. After her shift I visited her home. She brought out four, all loaded. I bought a Luger and a Star PD. I passed on her 2” .38 S&W version of the chief special for $150. In hind sight I should have bought it.

I'm surprised to see American Survival Guide there. I used to buy those back in the '80s, but I didn't realize they were still in business.

There is a chip in those magazines so that the people that buy them can be tracked.

In Louisville the only stores with very limited to non-existent displays of gun rags are CVS and Walgreens.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen them for sale at my hardware store either. So far.

I moved to rural Kansas when I retired, the town is just big enough to have a 24x7 wally world. We went by this afternoon to pick a couple of things up. In small towns w'world also doubles as a community center, where folks shop, visit, catch up on gossip etc.
My wife meets an old GF at the front door, yaks for a while, we get in side the door and she sees her old hair dresser, yaks some more. I told her to come get me in the book/magazine dept.
Sip there is every gun magazine, archery magazine, survival magazine, preppers mags, living off the grid magazine printed there. I was able to read about $50.00 in magazine articles for free by the time the wife made it to me. Then wouldn't you know she is now in a hurry. Put down the magazine, we're here to shop....

Closest walmart to me has gun rags in two different sections of the store. There are gun magazines in the magazine section, then another display of them in the hunting section.

Here you find gun mags at places like the Dr waiting room, I wouldn't be surprised to find one at a hair salon. The grocery store has a huge selection of gun magazines. I wouldn't even register on me as being strange to see them anywhere I went.

I save all the gun/NRA mags that I'm through reading and the next time I have a Dr. appointment I take them and scatter them around the waiting room. Some are still there after a year and are very well worn.

I have been known to drop off gun magazines in my doctors and dentists waiting rooms. I put them out when the staff is not watching!
Most places here I think they let the reception staff pick out what periodicals they put in the waiting room. Most of that stuff is woman related stuff. Books with women in the title, how to decorate your house and those ones that have interviews with so called famous people.
I rip off the mailing label and stick the shooting books in the little piles on the tables. It’s very interesting to see people (mostly men) hunting through the selection and with a smile grabbing the books to read.
One time at my previous dentists the receptionist came out to straightened out the waiting area a bit and saw the gun magazine. She grabbed it fast and just about ran to her area and I saw her throw it into the trash can. You would have thought I left a copy of Perverts Today (made up name) instead of a gun mag.

It's ok guys. These are low capacity magazines, they only have 1/3 the pages.

The Walmart in MN have gotten rid of all magazines reportedly because of low sales.
