(You guys are awesome. )
Lee, that's really a nice find - I avoid auctions, myself, because I don't want to figure out where to store more stuff.

When the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail . . .

I resemble that remark. We were going to retire and move to the farm. My wife never has seen the positive value of obtaining a 3rd or 4th Coleman lantern for a dollar after negotiations.
She told me no more yard sales. We do not have room. I said yes dear, cross my heart. Well Ladies guys can have a headache too. That was not what I really meant.
I'm headed for the LGS, yes there were specific instructions for that visit too, but I forgot them listening the annoying whine of the starter.
I make 1 left turn and 2 blocks from my house is a yard sale.
None of those puked on baby clothes or old VHS tapes, nope, camping stuff. Coleman lanterns, Coleman stove. Fold up colman stove stand. Humongous cast aluminum camp skillet with lid, coleman oven with stand, some more camp pots and coffee pot. For some reason my truck stopped in the middle of the street right in front of this stuff. He was an older gentleman, he was sitting in the shade, his sign said until noon, it was 11:50ish.
He said get out, I said no, we are in range of my wife's shooting ability. He said HA, HA. I said no really.
I had to pull over to let a car by, so I parked and got out. I was only going to look, don't often see this kind of treasure piled up.
I don't remember the exact amounts but he had about 10 bucks on each item. I looked and was leaving. HE said gotta be something here for you. I said nope.
Then it began, he said take 2 for one price, I said no, well take 3 for one price. I said no and kept walking. HE eventually said he has sold his home and is going to live with his daughter and can't take it. He said everything for 20 bucks. HE helped load it.
I turned the skillet lid upside down and put it under the F-250 rear seat. The rest behind the seat or laid down in the bed.
I took most of it to the old farmhouse and it worked well there. I thought I was home free, until my wife said I know you've been yard selling again. Huh? Who me? She said the 3 old lanterns hanging next to the other ones busted ya. Gave one to my son and one to our son in law. Told her that was my plan all along. Kept one for the barn...... She never did pat down the 250 Super Duty for contraband....
