Here's an interesting article from MSN . com that appeared today. As the land area is of such historical importance to the legend of Rogers' Rangers, I hope the town can find enough $ to preserve it properly.

A great book on Robt. Rogers was "War on the Run" by John Ross.

Great story too. It shouldnt be too difficult to ID the skeletal remains as Settlers, Lobsterbacks or American Militiamen. There is always something lost during that many burials--like coins--buttons, buckles or somehting.
