I believe the OP is talking about the discussions with the show's producer to bring a new season of Longmire to Netflix. I really enjoyed Longmire and I'm hoping they can reach a deal so we'll have more episodes of the show.

A&E is too PC to air a show with guns in it. We don't need no stinkin' network, digital streaming is where it's at. Come-on Netflix...

So if Netfix picks it up I will have to subscribe to Netflix to see it?
I currently watch everything via Direct TV.

Yep, that's the bad news, having to pay for it. I'm looking at possible ways to see it without subscribing to a service I don't need. I had netflix for a while but decided they had nothing worthwhile that I really wanted to watch.

We just finished watching the first two seasons of Longmire on Netflix. Sure hope there is more to come!
Needed something new to watch in the evenings so started going through the Jesse Stone movies.

I watched every episode from the beginning. Never have used Netflix, but will if they pick it up for the next and beyond seasons.

Never watched it , but read all the novels. I like the characters, and the feel of the high plains

I'm in. I watched maybe 6 episodes. Then my wife cut the dish. She said we could stream it. Haven't seen it since. That's cold.

If Netflix picks up Longmire, wait for the season to finish, sign up for a month, binge watch them all, and cancel. ☺
Netflix offers a 30-day trial as well. I got 3 months of Netflix free when I bought my Google Chromecast last year, and there's enough content I'm interested in watching that I continued my subscription. Lately, I've been watching The Good Guys, another great show that was cancelled before its time.

Season 4! Season 4! Season 4!
I knew there was a reason I've ponied up for Netflix all these years.

Wait a minute. . . How long did Longmire run on A&E -- two seasons or three?

Three seasons, but only the first two are currently available on Netflix.

We were disappointed to hear of the sudden cancellation of Longmire. Shows for adults are becoming difficult to find. We will likely follow it over to Netflix, if they pick it up.

It is definitely one of the better adult shows, very good actors, pretty good stories and thank God, no massive shoot outs with hundreds and hundreds of rounds being fired from auto weapons, with no one being hit!
I really enjoyed it but that was kind of a warning to me that it would not last. The last season may have done it in, with the focal point of all the shows centered around the #2 man sheriff and his search for the Indian who shot him.
