Complaints about M&P magazine
First of all it only holds 16 rounds of 9mm instead of 17 and second of all, the gun won't cycle. Guess I need to send it back to the factory...

I know right. That was very good work, at least 3 people missed that before publishing. If not more....

If you load them into the magazine nose first your problems will go away.

You've got them....
You've got them in there too straight.
PS I looked up the ad. That is rich!!!!

PPS I looked up H&K stuff and see that they have a 'Tactical' pistol and a 'Compact' pistol, then they have a 'Tactical Compact' pistol.

Indeed, no compromise.
Btw, did I mention that my magazine rattles really bad when I shake it?

Here in CA, when purchasing a new gun, you have to demonstrate that you can operate it. I watched a lady picking up her gun and she was doing the demonstration for the clerk who wasn't paying attention. Yep, she loaded all the snap caps in the magazine backward, inserted it in the gun and racked the slide. Obviously the gun malfunctioned. She didn't know why it wasn't working. Even after the clerk showed her what was wrong, she still tried to load the snap caps backward in the mag.
So, while the OP is hilarious, I wish it were more uncommon.

Really? I mean, really?
Do I also have to cook the salesman a meal before I can purchase a kitchen?

Yeah, they put that one in about 2 years ago. If you have a license to carry you don't have to do the demonstration, but most folks here don't have one of those.
While I detest the law, it has helped a bunch of people. The story I posted above is not unique. I've seen similar things many times. The clerks show them the right way and the customer is ultimately happy to have the instruction.
It shouldn't be a law, but many new gun owners have benefited from it.

But that would require the clerk to know what he/she is doing.
Stupid law...

How sad is it that we had a captain who loaded her M9 mags like that at the range one day.
"You! Private! Come here and explain to me why you gave me a pistol that doesn't work!"
"Ma'am, your bullets are loaded backwards..."
"You should have given better instructions private, somebody could have gotten hurt"
Sigh... Who's supposed to lead who in battle?

HKs are so good that it doesn't matter which way the bullet faces. It will shoot each time every time! Now that's no compromise

Yup, they have the 180 degree internal tactical rotating chamber assembly.
