Now you have me digging through my files.....

Here's one I took around 54 years ago. The negative has suffered quite a bit from bad storage. I've always liked this picture and been meaning to dig it out and see if I can do some restoration on it. (or maybe, just clean it up digitally in Lightroom....)

Another, I didn't take it, but it's family. Taken on the family farm in Spencer Idaho about 1900. (Guess just who ran that crew.....)

Dad again, same time frame, different company:

I love the old black and whites too. Here's a few I was able to find.

1. Me on my first motor cycle, an old Mustang. Taken in Waco Texas in front of my cousins house in 1959. I was 15 years old.
2. My maternal grandparents outside their house on 2nd street in old Waco Texas circa 1920.
3. My mother outside the old house on 2nd Street in Waco, circa 1921.
4. My maternal grandmother with the baby of the family, circa 1923. The baby's name was Helen (nickname Snookems) and she died "mysteriously" not too long after this pic was taken.
5. This is a so-called Glamor shot of me and Miss Pam taken on our first cruise. Inside passage Alaska on the Princess Regal in 1997.

I don't think this is what the OP had in mind, but It's not the first time a thread has been hijacked. This is me; as a country bumpkin, and me as an under-cover city slicker.

Default Denali Mountain Range from Wonder Lake--last Summer

Locals told us you see the range this clearly about once every couple of years. We got off the NPS bus and hiked the last 15 miles of the road and had this waiting on us. A momma grizzly with two cubs ambled in front of us on the hike. Paid us no more mind than we do a fly.

My then 9 year old in the field.

An old Vermonter that I scanned from a glass plate negative. Not supposed to be a relative so I guess all old Vermonter's with beards look the same.

I have hundreds, so I took pictures of 3 hanging on the wall. I had enlarged them to 16"x20" so a little big for my scanner. The others I had uploaded for other purposes. The first 3 were taken hanging on the wall so they have a few glares from the lights in the room. Only the first one is straight b&w. The remaining are b&w IR.

That's my grandfather standing closest to the camera. My Great-grand parents and some of their other children on the front porch of their Logan County, Ky home. Probably taken about 1916 or so.

Here's my dad with his first wife and her younger sisters. I have always liked this pic.

That's my grandmother (mom's mom) standing on the running board, and my grandfather sitting on the windshield. That's her sister in the front seat. Around 1920.

I took this one at my uncle's place out in the Oklahoma panhandle a few years back. That car's been sitting there a while I reckon.

Amazing pictures. Love the old family pictures as well as farm work.

Keep 'em coming, so I can show my kids how luxurious their life is in today's world. And they might appreciate it...

Ok, here's some more:

My dad and I, yay with puppies!

My grandparents with my dad and his older brother (summer 1927)

Looks like my grandma was still carrying my dad. (late '26-early '27)

Dad got grandpa's car a bit muddy, still Mr. Cool though.

I envy everyone that still have photos of their parents and grandparents. They are definitely great reminders of where we came from and how far we've gone.

I would post pictures of my family but the Post Office wont let me take them down and make copies.

Guys, those black&whites were an absolute treat !
Regular gun pictures are great, but, I can go to my sock drawer and see one when I want to. Not so with treasures from the 20s and 30s like you have.

Here are our 3 generations. First my grandfather on the left with his cronies from his house at Beverly Beach, MD in the 40s.

Next in my dad and his older brother whom he loved. They must have done a series of photos each year to see how they grew. First would be around 1915.

And last but not least is me in 1950, the snaggled tooth kid still believing in Santa Claus.

That Santa looks like a hobo they pulled off of skid row, bought a bottle of ripple, and said "here talk to these brats!"*

*Reddogge excluded of course. I am sure all our members were perfect children.

I'm off this week in case you can't tell and I love b&w. Dug through dear old dad's stuff and came up with some old stuff.

The first 2 are dad, 6'-4" and as big around as a stick. Not sure about the babe cutting the grass

Don't know who is milking the goat. Dad and his car and the gal that day. And WOW I'm surprised that outfit didn't get here arrested.

The guy on the right is my grandfather and his new car. The only picture I know I have of him. This group is just scary.

Okay, one more. I took this from the south side of Mt. Rainier, it's one of the peaks in the Tatoosh range. Can you tell I'm a fan of Ansel Adams?
