Tarpon Springs police officer was shot and killed overnight, and a suspect has been taken into custody, authorities said.

The shooting happened at 3 a.m. at or near 199 Grand Boulevard, a few blocks from the city's Sponge Docks. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and Tarpon Springs Police Department are investigating.

Prayers for another officer's family and loved ones.

Where is all the news coverage of these acts like the one's in Ferguson and other place that weren't against LE, that were splashed all over the news and their violent protests that followed for days on end.

So when are people going to start protesting the sudden rash of law enforcement shootings?

Oh that's right, never mind........

For those who understand, no explanation is necessary.
For those who do not, none is possible.
The killing of law enforcement officers is beyond the pale.
To those who would advocate, explain, or justify such behavior be forewarned:
Justice will prevail.
Prayers for the fallen, their families, and for all who wear the badge.

The protesters are screaming that the LEO's are too quick on the trigger. That they are too violent with suspects, that they target people of color.

yada, yada, yada. We've all heard it.

Yet, I kind of wonder why they don't scream about when an LEO gets shot from behind or from ambush. You don't hear to much screaming about that. These people just bait the borderline crazies into shooting LEO's.

It's going to get worse.
