The wife goes to the outdoor range at Ft. Bliss with me every Monday, to target shoot. She has her own M&P 40 FS and Beretta 92 FS. She has learned to shoot both pretty well even-though it has taken most of a year to get her comfortable with them. I have been trying to get her to try shooting a Ruger New Vaquero in .38 Spl. My motive is to get her into CAS. Anyway, she has until today refused to try any revolver. I'm a revolver guy and have recently gotten into CAS. She goes with me to the shoots, but won't even show any interest in competing. Well today she tried that smoke wagon and man, it was love at first shot. She shoots it better than her semi-autos, I almost couldn't get her to leave the range. Now she wants to know if she can keep it. I guess I'll have to gift it to her to keep peace in the family. I'll have her shooting CAS within a couple of months.
