I never.....
I never liked the Smurfs anyway. I thought they were subversive. Really. No fooling.
My favorites are:
Phineas and Ferb (Succeeds on many levels, like Looney Tunes)
Blues Clues (with Steve)
The Bear in the Big Blue House (The last scenes with Luna explaining the meaning of the show are priceless)
Kipper (Not overstimulating. Calm and quiet)
Bob the Builder (Always thought he was going to make time with Wendy)
Maisey Mouse (That alligator cracks me up)
Scooby Doo (no explanation needed)
Teen Titans (can be darn funny when they are getting on each other's nerves)
Kim Possible (Rufus and Ron Stoppable save this from being a 'girly' show)
Sponge Bob Square Pants (Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway were still great)
Avatar: The Last Airbender (This is a 'cartoon'?)
Pokemon (Jack Pollokson???? )
Not animated but good kids shows:
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
iCarly (Just a few character but the interplay is great)
Hannah Montana (when you know who was still a cute kid. I don't think I could watch it now. Blech!)
Power Rangers (The originals using the old Japanese footage)
I despise:
Dora the Abhorra (inconsistent, incoherent, in-everything)
Care Bears (Raw sugar would be more palatable)
Dragon Ball Z (This show gives kids bad messages)
Teletubbies (They were sent to destabilize our world as we know it)
Barney (Without Baby Bop it might be tolerable)
BTW These are 'new' shows. Less than 40 years old.

Boris and Natasha were seemingly Russian spies, meant to represent the danger of a foreign other at work in America. On its face that could be simple Cold War anti Communism. But perhaps there was a deeper meaning.
Note the costume of the flying squirrel, his aviator gear, and his down home American mannerisms. He is employed, sort of, as an agent of American defense and meant to represent the SAC and Curtis Lemay, the flying embodient of American power.
Bullwinkle, who was the dumber of the two, represented via his attendance at Whatsamatta U the Ivy League types who populated the State Department and intelligence services.
Thus America could trust its nuclear force against the Russians.
Mr Peabody and his time machine was a veiled warning about the secret Nazi time machines and the efforts of American scientists to thwart their plans. Sherman represented the Army's contribution to the program, but they always fealt kept in the dark by the egg heads.
Now Sponge Bob is a Communist propaganda effort. The characters on the show are hideous mutants caused by American nuclear testing at Bikini Atoll.
Sponge Bob is a dim witted worker who is exploited by Mr. Krabs, the money loving capitalist.
Squidward is the lazy American worker, unable to be more the artist he wishes to be since capitalism leaves him a wage slave.
Patrick is the American public zoned out on Pharmaceuticals.
Plankton represents the way conflict is caused by Capitalists competition.

The really terrifying thing is that I've read scholarly articles in journals of psychology that seemed eerily similar to this compilation of...interesting stuff.
Gator, your ingenuity is stunning, but has anyone suggested lately that you get a checkup from the neck up?

To back track to Ginger or Mary Ann, the answer is neither.
Both the actress who played Ginger and the character were victims of the casting couch. This is why she ended up on a TV sitcom instead of hitting it big in movies.
Mary Ann, I just can't see anything but a Machiavellian poisoner when I look at her. Always jealous of Ginger, she obviously hoped to take Gingers place.
Now the Coyote Road Runner saga actually contains the true meaning of life.
The Coyote represents humanity. The Road Runner is man's quest for "the answer".
The Coyote doesn't chase the RR in the conventional sense of being hungry. He has plenty of money and could buy food, witness his spending at Acme.
Rather the coyote is us, he chases the road runner because he literally has no choice. It is his purpose and his quest.
Yet in that quest his science, engineering and machine always fail him in the end.
In one episode he passes through a series of pipes and gets smaller and smaller. At the end, he catches the road runner, throws his arms around its feet and thinks he has won. But the road runner is still big. He just pecks down, eats the coyote, beeps and runs off. This shows man being unable to comprehend the true nature of the universe in its infinite vastness.
A controversial book, "Hollywood's Dark Prince" came out around 20 years ago about Disney. From it we learn that Disney may have actually been born to Spanish peasants and adopted by the Disney family.
Walt is portrayed as a life long AntiSemite and Nazi sympathizer. He apparently created Mickey Mouse in an attempt to get revenge after he blamed "the Jews" for cheating him out of his profits from an earlier cartoon character. In a circa 1940 cartoon Mickey, dresses as a cowboy, gives a Nazi salute as snakes on the ground form the shape of a swastika.
Walt did actually have an interest in being cryogenically frozen and later revived...
Which could explain the movie "Frozen" and its Nazi themes...
Think about it. Set in a Nordic country, the queen has to come down from her ice palace to rule.
One of the villains is the Duke of Weaselton, concerned with commercially exploiting the Nordic country. He is drawn as hunched over and hook nosed, a basic anti Semitic stereotype.
When the one woman calls Kristoph "Christopher" he immediately snaps back and corrects her. Christopher means Christ bearer. In doing so he rejects Christianity in favor of pagan Nordic religion.
The king refers to ancient Nordic mysticism and magic for guidance in a time of trouble. The book that leads him to the rock trolls is written in Runes.
The Prince who represents the false savior, catering to the masses but really plotting for his own advancement represents either the ownership of Disney after Walt died or is meant to show the failure of Western style democracy.
Perhaps Walt was thawed....

They're coming to take you away,
They're coming to take you away, haha, hehe, hoho.
To the funny farm, with trees and flowers, and chirping birds,
and basket weavers who sit...
Mary Ann was doing everybody on the island, even Mrs. Howell.
We all had Mary Ann.

To quote the great Oliver Wendell Douglas,

Sure it seems farfetched...at first...but was "Animal Farm" just a barnyard fable?
And what about Sesame Street...Big Bird was mentally ill, having that imaginary elephant thing that talked to him....Oscar was homeless and lived in a trash can...And what exactly was the nature of Burt and Ernies relationship? Then there was the Count and his debilitating OCD...To say nothing of Cookie Monster and his addiction to "cookies"... All the gang graphiti on the walls... Regular Sodom and or Gomorrah that place.
Nods. Gilligans Island was just the tip of the iceberg.

Fearless Leader relied on an archetype of enemy other ingrained by two world wars of propaganda, but Boris and Natasha are Russian names, plus Russia was the enemy then.
Sesame Street was secretly funded by MK Ultra. All those programmed letter and number sequences....Then Romper Room and the magic mirror conditioned children to accept Orwellian surveillance.

Boris Godunov (Russian: Бор********с Го********унов, Borís Godunóv) is an opera by Modest Mussorgsky (1839–1881).

"glowing endorsement "
Is the glow an off green?
Do you have any memories of life before waking up on area 51?
Do family members wear inappropriate items around you, garlic comes to mind.

Conditioning children to accept a half human half alien genetically engineered slave race. The BBC recently ordered more episodes.

But who decides what shows up on our computers and smart devices when we "google" it? "They" are everywhere, man.

"The Wizard Of Id" is certainly sinister.
In one strip, a guy is applying for a job in the stables. The foreman holds out a little flat tin and asks, "What's that?"
"Shinola," the applicant answers.
"You're hired," says the foreman.
A commentary on the age of automation? Anarcho-syndicalist propaganda gone bad? Who knows?
I'll bet GatorFarmer does.

I think gatorfarmer hit the nail on the head with sesame street, even as a kid back in the 70's I often wondered about the nature of bert & ernies relationship and the Count's OCD.
The only thing that I remember learning from watching sesame street as a kid was learning 1-10 in spanish.

At least we know Captain Kangaroo was a hero. I'm not sure about the Greenjeans fella.
It seems that whenever I see a picture of teletubbies, the phrase "3 dollar bill." comes to mind. I wonder why that is?

Captain Kangaroo was also funded by MK Ultra as a form of operant conditioning.
The Walking Dead, like all zombie programming, may be a side effect of Sasquatch infiltration of all major media outlets. Similar to in "They Live", you are hypnotized to not notice how Patty in accounting really needs some electrolysis. The plan is to get everyone focused on zombies and buying AR15s rather than preparing for the impending Sasquatchopacalypse. Someone trademark that for me. Thus the sale of proper Sasquatch Rifles (also trademark) is curtailed. As soon as they reopen the Stargate, you are all in for being part of a forced mating triune.

I'm not sure about that. Beware of Marsupial Androids with Buster Brown haircuts.
