Default Failing to post "Sold" in ad title

I don't understand why it is so difficult to put "Sold" in the title of the ad when your item is sold. I think the rules make that very clear. When it is in the title, those of us who do not have very fast internet don't have to load the ad and pictures and scroll down to the bottom to see the "I'll take it" and find out it is no longer available. There are currently several ads on just the first page where people haven't followed this rule.

People forget????

When I first started I didn't know how to modify the title line even though I read the instructions. I belong to 4 forums, others do as well, and often I mix up the rules. I recognize it is my responsibility to follow the rules.

I suspect it's people using tapatalk as there doesn't seem to be a place there to modify the header. It has to be done through a browser.

It doesn't matter what the excuse is, a rule is a rule. Right??

Rule or not, marking the header "sold" is common courtesy.

I hope this isn't too much drift, but it is closely related:
Some titles have almost no information at all, e.g. all they say is "For Sale".

You have to open the thread to see what is for sale. If you're selling great granddaddy's souvenir .25 Caliber Velo Dog from WWI, I probably don't need to hear any more. A much better title would be "FS: .25 Cal Velo Dog"

You don't have to write the entire description in the title line, only enough to inform the reader what it is. Just trying to help out here.

I've been bugged about this lately also. Good to see it's being discussed.
