Nevada would die for that to happen, out here.
All the snow and rain that the East is getting is driving us all crazy !!!!
It has not been this bad in the West in over 50 years................
Still feel sorry for all the homes that are getting damaged or even destroyed......putting families out in the cold.
If one has insurance and family to take them in, they can wait it out.
Otherwise it will be a long road of suffering.

This will not be a flood year in Minnesota. Most years are, but it has been pretty dry. There have been some grass fires, and some authorities are doing controlled burns to ward off wildfires later in the year.

Flash flooding here. The metro area got five to seven inches of rain in less than twenty-four hours.
Fortunately the property on which my apartment is located drains well. Lots of people were less lucky--cars submerged, homes flooded, and a couple of sections of very busy streets caved in.

We here in SC...
We would GLADLY give you guys out west some rain. I had to mow my yard with a weedeater after months of rain. Many places I was sinking with my shoes on. A mower would make it look like a plowed field after running it.
