I dont know but--one of the best acknowledgements for D-Day I ever saw--was drawn by Charles Schultz. He drew a Peanuts cartoon that showed Snoopy swimming trough the water heading for the beach. Shells were exploding--bullets flying--as he was making his way past Belgian Gates and other obstacles--heading for Omaha or Utah.
Thank you Sir--as well as for all the other WWII vets who were there.

My sister in law's father road a glider into France for D-Day and did both Market Garden and Eagle's Claw under the canopy of a parachute. Sadly he has been gone for two years.
