Craig Spegel Grips
Any of you guys who actually shoot your K frames with Spegel grips care to tell me how you like them?I know they look nice and they work great for me on J frame revolvers but what about K frame guns?

On my 3" 65 and 66s since "1980-something" !!!!!!!!
Carry guns ..............all wear a set of Spegel grips
K-frames 3" or less all wear Boot grips (smooth or checkered.)
4" K & L-frames as well a 6" L-frames all wear checkered "Extended Boot Grips"....
Maybe 8-10 sets total......
So I guess I think they are .........OK ...LOL

I have them on my Kit Gun and L framed mod 242, both boot grips. I'd love to get a set for my SPD 10-5 snubby.

I'll 3rd, 4th, or 5th, "they fit my hands perfectly" crowd, none better for me. A bargain at their price, as well.

Used them for years. Make that many years. I just delete the finger grooves.
Everyone who has ever handled them, whatever their actual hand size, has liked them.

Not a K frame, but I have a set on an N frame: a S&W 625 Mountain Gun in 45 Colt. I asked for them to be smooth instead of checkered because of the recoil of heavy loads. They feel good and help keep the pistol steady at arm's length. Much better than factory grips.

Thank you all! I am considering a set of boot grips for my 3 inch 65 and was just wondering how they would work while actually firing the revolver.

Not being checkered helps some, but they're still wood, so compared to rubbers there's some minor issue, as might be expected, short barrel and all.
Fit wise, the grips feel like an extension of my hand.

They fill the hand a lot better than the factory girps and make instinct shooting a lot easier. I didn't have them checkered, as Spegel's checkering is rather sharp, and that little gun kicks with heavy loads. They distribute the recoil a lot better than factory grips.
