2A intent
For all the liberals who contend that the "Founding Fathers" original intent didn't apply to individuals.

For those of you that are interested, recommended you read Stephen Halbrook's "The Founders' Second Amendment". Not only a good read on how the 2A came to be, but an interesting book on the whole process of creating the Constitution. You can get it on Amazon.

Today, we think of armies and national guard etc.
Nationalized armies or government controlled armies are a relatively new thing.
Of course it meant the people---all of the Amendments are for individuals.

There's never been any doubt, imo, you either believe in individual rights or you don't.

The mind of Jefferson must have never stopped working, amazing how many remarkable people came together to become the Founding Fathers. Now if we could live up to what they left us!

I "lifted" it from someone else, I'm sure they won't mind.
