A while back I posted that I was confused by TV NM Mountain Man Kyle Bell.
It was announced that he lived in the Cimarron Valley, NM.
He appears to live in extreme NE NM.
When I hear Cimarron or Cimarron Valley I think it's between Eagle Nest Lake, on down past the town of Cimarron, the river runs about 60 miles then joins the Canadian River, SE of the town of Springer.
I did a little searching and was surprised to learn that we have two Cimarron's here in NM. I guess one just wasn't enough!
We also have a Dry Cimarron River and Canyon up in NE NM.
Kyle Bell and the TV folks have apparently shortened it to Cimarron Valley.
I have been up there, but not that much.
One thing to see up there is The Capulin Volcano Monument.
It's a dead - I hope - volcano cone. You can drive up to the top.
