Please take a look at these coordinates on Google Earth and tell me if you think the object is under the water or over the water:

While at first it superficially appears to be under the surface it is probably the result of fog or a thin overcast. With very few exceptions it is exceptionally rare to successfully ditch a jet airliner and not have significant structural damage. This plane does not appear to have any damage.

In addition, if you use the measurement feature of Google Earth (C) you will find that the length of the image is ca. 360 feet, with a wingspan of something like 550 feet! There is no aircraft in existence that large! The wingspan is more than twice that of a C-5a or Antonov AN-124, or even the Hughes H-4 Hercules (Spruce Goose).

In other words, it is an illusion.

I ran into it last night while scanning the California coast looking for something and that caught my eye!!

Found it hard to believe an intact aircraft was sitting on the bottom of the ocean. Just looking for other opinions!!
