Question Is your spouse an NRA member?

I am a life member. During the last uproar after Sandy Hook, I signed my wife up as an annual member. I've since let her membership slip.

So I am curious, is your spouse a member? Do you sign up all your family members to "boost" numbers?

My wife is an annual member (actually I paid for, I think, three years after the first year).

I am an Endowment Member and I signed my wife up as a Life Member several years ago. We both have concealed carry permits in Illinois. It is getting time for people to stand up and be counted as the comments from certain national politicians become more shrill and more unacceptable. May I also add that my wife is as firm a believer in gun rights as I am.

My wife got herself a life membership at the NRA convention .I bought all three boys annual memberships for their Bdays this year .If you are a gun owner or hunter. And not a member of the NRA you are just getting a free ride on the backs of its members. You do not have to agree with everything they do.But no one else has the clout or fights harder for us .

I'm a Patron member, as I took advantage of several lower cost upgrade offers. I gave my wife a membership as a gift one year, she keeps the renewals up herself. She's also a CCW holder in CA. AZ and ID.

No.

She blames guns on most of the problems durin' our lives. It don't help that we had to spend 'bout $175k years ago... to defend against an incident. I keep tellin' her... it was mostly alchohol... and me defendin' my self... (coupled with the incident being litigated in a slanted-jury-packed Memphis court room). But she don't give a dam. She hates guns. Except the one she keeps for her and the kids' safety. (BUT HEAVEN FORBID... MY FRIGGIN' SAFETY DON'T COUNT.)

Towards the latter part of my sorry-*** life... I began believin' in somethin'.

Found that... if you don’t believe in somethin'... THEN YOU BELIEVE IN NOTHIN'. On three separate occasions in my life… I stood over some folks… with my gun pointed… and chose not to pull the trigger. Sometimes… I think ‘bout the one that my head wishes much regret… but my heart is glad. It's a bitter pill... but it’s just… water under the bridge…
