Default FFL application

One of the things on my to do list is to apply for a FFL. It was on the list prior to POTUS speech last week, but since the defination of " being in the business of selling firearms" is subject to lots of interpretation, the priority has increased a bit on my list. Anyway, perusing the application form, I see the requirement to have a hunting license. Can someone tell me just what the hell a hunting license has to do with firearms sales?

It's not a requirement for citizens per se, more like a way for green card holders to establish citizenship.

That's funny. Who knows, maybe that's the actual reason.

Maybe I misread the application form. Looked like an ironclad requirement the way I read it.

Some of us are ancient enough that a hunting and fishing license is no longer required.
