Redneck how-to department: Spaghetti dogs!
Came across this menu idea today - the pictures are self-explanatory. I told the wife she should make some for our next guests - probably wouldn't be half bad with spaghetti sauce and grated Parmesan cheese. It would certainly raise some eyebrows!

I've used pasta to hold things together -like absorbable sutures- in Roulade, chicken Kiev, etc...
The hotdog thing is way cooler.

Franco American makes Spaghettios with hot-dog chunks in it, like Beanie Weenies. I have put vienna sausage into Chef Boyardee spaghetti, and that ain't half bad.
Don't think you could shove the dried spaghetti through Italian sausage. It's a bit harder than your normal hot dog. Although I suppose you could use a skewer to make the hole. But does Italian sausage taste good boiled?

Somewhere between this:
"For some reason I find those pictures disturbing"
And this:
"Wife says they look like dog turds that have worms"
Most definitely this:
The culinary version of "the answer to a question that no one asked"!

I've never thought of the ops possibility I admit but, then again, I liked potato chips on ham or turkey sandwiches.
Or if you will? almost everything goes with heaping amounts of Salsa Verde. :-)))

John, I guess I owe you royalties. I shared this with my entire family and all the wee ones want it.
I gotta go boil water now.

Love the concept, lack the patience. I just slice the wiener and toss it in the sauce.

I have to say that looks tasty. I haven't had supper yet and that made me hungry. Lot of ways you could rev them up with hot sause or meat sauce or something. Maybe I'll give em a shot for the grand kids after school. Even I can boil water pretty good.
Peace,
gordon

That would go well with cottage cheese covered with ketchup. Ask me why.

You inspired my wife.
While I cooked flounder and asparagus for supper my wife cooked some spaghetti hotdogs.
The spaghetti hotdogs didn't last the night.
