Default Could have ended badly

After coming from a Doctor appointment with My Son We were sitting at a traffic light and I look in the rear view mirror and see two idiots smoking a crack pipe. They noticed us watching Them so I set My Revolver on the Motor Cover of the Van just in case They wanted to start something,They had no front Plate so I could not get the License Number and I had to turn off to get on the Highway and They didn't follow.Hopefully They get pulled over by the heavy Police presence in that area.

There's a popular way to smoke pot (actually, the extracted resin) called "dabbing". It involves a pipe very similar or identical to a crack pipe and a butane torch. Seeing people do it, it looks like smoking crack.

Thank goodness that they were only smoking pot while driving instead of crack!

Meh...two guys smoking something BEHIND me....can't get too excited about that. At least not to the point of pulling a gun out just in case. Would your actions have been the same if they were drinking a beer? Call 911 and report them and then move along.

Given the strength of pot that is out there these days, I might prefer the motorist be smoking crack instead.

I'm pretty sure that most LEOs would rather arrest the hophead.

Any care to chime in?

Growing up I knew a Guy that liked to smoke Angel Dusted Pot,I was talking to Him one day and He told Me about hearing Voices,He would be sitting down just talking and get the idea that Someone was laughing at Him and then He would go off like a Cannon.I was usually able to talk Him out of doing anything but sometimes He would be too far gone and the fight would start.
This Guy was 6' tall and 200 lbs in High School so there was usually no contest. He was finally put away because He was crazy from years of drug abuse.
Those two Guy's in the Pickup Truck smoking whatever They had could have been just like Him so I set My Revolver where I could get at it if need be because You never know what Someone will do these days and being disabled I cant trade punches with Anyone anymore.

Funny and sad at the same time but, around here lately, synthetic marijuana seems to be the main drug of choice. Its much worse than regular weed because of all the added chemicals. I've seen three people at various bus stops who are literally falling asleep standing. One was on feet bent to the waist--sleeping when the police arrived. Another was holding onto a pole and asleep, the other was being arrested when I saw him,

Along similar lines.

Thirty plus years back a fellow Cop buddy of mine was in traffic when two guys along side of him were smoking some pot. He smelled it and his GF thought it would be funny to "Scare them". So she flashed his badge at them and said something about " I'm a cop and you are in trouble" or something along those lines.

The driver pulled out a 1911 and pointed it directly at her for 2-3 seconds...then they sped away as traffic had opened up.

He got the plate and later that day the driver was arrested....A recently paroled felon, carrying a 1911 in .45 auto as well as a sawed off 12 ga under the seat of his stolen car.

You never know WHO is in that car alongside or behind You.

He didn't brandish his firearm, or threaten anyone with violence. Can't fault a man for taking precautions. Glad the situation didn't go south.

You should have backed into them and called the police and claimed they rearended you. Who would believe them? Be sure to say your neck and back hurts. Only do this if you have uninsured coverage. (Just a joke! Don't really do this!)

This happened here Monday this week. Guy in sedan was cut off by guy in white van. This was on SPID, and Staples?.. Anyway, white van kept backing into dark sedan, guy driving sedan got out to confront jerk in van, jerk backed into his sedan once or twice more. Van sped off and incident ended. I was surprised nobody guy hurt or shot. Guy in van had a serious road rage thing going on.

My attitude would have been simply........not my circus, not my monkeys. Call 911, that's what my taxes are for.
