I agree with all of the choices and really got a laugh out of some. OK, don't anyone think I need counseling for my choice because it's off the beaten path. ( Not unlike some of the others). One that always got my motor revving was none other than Mrs. Walton, John's wife, John Boy's momma. Dang, just something about that woman. An understated beauty. A calmness that always made me imagine a volcano ready to.....well you get the picture. We can come across one of the episodes on TV and my wife gets all defensive. Oh well. She had more than just the surface good looks. Don't anyone go and tell me she was a raving psych in real life. Leave me with my memories.

Saw one in an old movie today I'd forgotten, Mariette Hartley. In her younger days, she was a sho nuf babe.

I remember her well. She was in, among other shows, a Star Trek episode that had her dressed as a cave woman, with Spock.
I thought she was also the blonde in a movie with George Montgomery, "Watusi". (I know; they can't spell Watutsi.)
But that turned out to be a German girl, which role she played. I liked this spin-off of, "King Solomon's Mines" in part because Montgomery had a Lee-Enfield .303. He'd also kept the bayonet, which had a storyline attached to it. Good movie. I liked it. Came out in the early 1960's. Haven't seen it since.

I watched that show and I was old enough to read newspapers. Uncle Bob said the Princess was going away for a long time but would return. I thought that unlikely as I had read in the paper she had been killed in a car accident. That was my first memory of being lied to by adults!

Spelled the last name wrong, like fish eggs!
Fortunately, I remembered her as a Playmate, so retrieved this for you:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misty_Rowe
Barbi Benton from, "Playboy", was also on Hee Haw. Only reason I ever watched it. I didn't know that Misty Rowe was on it.

I saw a 1965 episode of, The FBI last night that featured Mickey Spillane's wife, Sherri. She and the author were married from 1965-1983. She also appeared on the cover of one of his books, but I'm afraid to post the title on this site. Some jerk would take that and run with it and get the thread closed, or worse.
But if you Search for his paperback covers, you'll see Sherri, au naturel. Many of you will remember that photo.
Sherri was the writer's second wife, I think. She was followed by a third, but I'd have to look up her name. The last wife and Mickey were still married when the author checked out in 2006.

When I was a horny youngster, back in the late '50s - early '60s, you could send for studio shots of actors from their fan club I believe.
I still have these today.
Suzanne Pleshette...
Connie Stevens...
Ann-Margret...

Who's the brunette on top? I can't read her signature. I certainly recall the other two.
I think producers or agents still offer fan photos. New Line Cinema had some of the cast of, "The Lost World." I didn't ask for any, but knew some others who did. They showed some of them on the official fan site and other boards about that show.
Many of them were repped and still are by the Mark Morrissey Agency in Sydney. I suspect that they can supply pics of their clients in various roles. I've toyed with the idea of asking for autographed pics of Lara Cox but never got around to it. I don't know who represents Jennifer O'Dell, and she may be retired from acting. I think she's married now, with two kids (?) and does wedding and family photography and teaches women's' exercise classes, or did. Rachel Blakely designs clothing. She's too old now for leading glamour roles. Jen was the only American in the cast and returned to CA after filming ended. She answered a couple of questions from me on her former site, but that site has been completely revised.
I wish now that I'd requested photos from New Line Cinema when the show was still in first-run episodes. If you like a show, try that. They may have some, and they may be free.
Of course, you can find all sorts of photos of actresses Online, many not suitable for this board.

I brought this thread back up, because yesterday, I was watching Perry Mason and saw a very pretty girl on the show that looked kinda familiar. Don't know where I had seen her before. Checked the credits out and saw her name was Ruta Lee (strange name). Here is a picture of her:

I know I've seen her but she isn't one I'd recognize. For one thing she's really been around, working in the early 50's until the present.

What they did with her make up, hair and that dress was amazing.
Diahann Caroll from 'Julia' was a very attractive lady.
I loved that show. Her and her son 'Corey'.

Michael Learned. She played in an episode of Gunsmoke (maybe a two-parter), and actually got Matt to sleep with her.

Yeah, Ruta Lee was in a WHOLE BUNCH of TV shows.
Did we mention Barbara Eden? I met her at a TV station when she played Jeannie and got her autograph. She was really nice to me, too.
What was the name of the Star Trek crew woman who betrayed the Enterprise to Khan? I know, and can't recall just now. I thought she was pretty sensual. Madelyn Rhue? (sp?)

Stanwyck wasnt too shabby herself. Watch her age well by watching: Meet John Doe--Ball of Fire-opposite Gary Cooper, Cattl Queen of Montana, and Titanic--opposite Clifton Webb--then: The Big Valley. I didnt really like the series-but I recently watched a few episodes-and she was still a vey beautiful lady.

She was stunning in the original Star Trek series episode "Who Mourns for Adonais." I think that dress stayed on her through sheer will power, and well hidden scotch tape.

(sp?)
|
Yep, that's her. And sensual ain't near enough word for her.
Both her and Joan Collins looked GREAT in the soft focus camera shots. I was trying to crawl through the screen after them.

There was probably plenty of taped on, glued on women's costumes on that show.
There was a law against showing navals.....so..
