i'd like to add in the gals from Hee Haw, plus the dancers on Laugh In (ie Goldie Hawn)........ in my youth in the late 60's/early 70's, well those ladies looked quite nice on the old console TV.

I wasn't 'aware' of such things in the 60s, but in the 70s several ladies caught my eye.
Number one with a bullet-blocking bracelet was Lynda Carter.
Tied for second were Barbara Eden and Elizabeth Montgomery.
There were other film beauties, but these were the top TV dames in my book.

BTW, I won an eight volume set of all the Avengers episodes in a drawing at a bicycle event a few years back. Anybody got a VHS player?

I loved Barbara Hale because by the time she did Perry Mason, she looked just like my third grade teacher, Miss Schumpert, on whom I had an insane, all-consuming crush. It broke my little boy heart when Miss Schumpert got married...and I didn't even know what "married" really meant then, either. All I knew was that she was going away. Barbara Hale, born in 1922, is still alive. Pre- Perry Mason, she was a stunner.
I craved Amanda Blake with that upswept strawberry blond hair and those...well, never mind...because she was the girl you would not take home to meet mother. The older she got, the better she looked to me.

You may have to be from this neck of the woods but there was a children's show here called, "Children's Hour", and the host was a lady named Norma Champion, AKA Aunt Norma. I thought she was purty back then. I mostly watched it for the Fractured Fairy Tales though.

Emma Peel, was a major hottie!! Love the leather pants, boots, and the Lotus Elan.
Saw Dianna Riggs on P.B.S. several years ago. Sadly she had not aged well

I met her at a TV station about 1972, and she was very gracious. I got her autograph, but was newly married then to a wife who was rather jealous. So, I asked that she address/sign the autograph to me and the wife, by name.
It worked, no major eruption at home. I never understood why the wife was somewhat insecure about that. She could give Barbara Eden a run for looks. Maybe I should have bought her a harem outfit and had her stand in front of the mirror in it to feel more self confident. Actually, my brother had a sister-in-law who had harem outfits and who took Middle Eastern Dance lessons. That lady could really compete with Barbara.
I was a fan of Jeannie the genie, although her apparent servility was a surface thing. She usually twisted Maj, Healy around her little finger.
I noted the comments about Dame Diana. Yes, the Avengers was a very worthwhile TV show. The actress was narrating PBS showings of BBC shows when I last saw her. One mini-series was about a colonial cop in 1930's Kenya. I'd read the books it was based on, and it was well done, if a bit PC.
Dame Diana Rigg was a fine hostess, if no longer looking like Emma Peel. If you want to find that series, one episode was called, "The Sport of Kings" and the detective was played by Trevor Eve. His sidearm was a Webley MK IV .38, worn under his coat, but the holster was easily visible much of the time.
I watched almost all of the shows mentioned here and liked almost all of the starlets. Did anyone mention Penny on, Sky King, or Sheena, Queen of the Jungle? Sheena was played by
Irish McCalla. She was about six feet tall. I was too young then to admire her as a woman, but liked the jungle shows.
