Want to use it to monitor traffic entering/leaving my driveway (500 ft long). Would like one with auxillary rechargeable battery(s). Interested in hearing what y'all have tried, likes and dislikes, and why?

I don't have one but I saw one on TV that sends the pictures to your computer or phone.

You probably want a security-type video camera setup so you can get live feed and record at a secure/remote location.

A game camera typically has a SD card and records pictures/video for viewing later. If you place it where it can be seen, someone could just remove the SD card with the pictures you really wanted to see.

If you think a game camera is what you want - get one with "black" infrared flash.
