Default First Hike of the Year

While my wife was away at a home health care aid meeting and it was a sunny warm day, I went for a hike over the Paw Paw Tunnel and decided to take y'all with me.

Thanks for the hike, hope we weren't too heavy to carry up that hill!

Snubby-- been there and done that-- my Molly girl was a pup then. She got up on the side of the tunnel and was afraid to come down. Had to go get Her. That was some years back. I lost her in 2008 on Her 17th birthday. Thanks for some good memories. She never lost a bird--

Ahhhhh. Goooood time getting caught up.

I think armadillos are cute. I have a beany babie armadillo.
Somewhere.
It's keeping company with the errant socks, I bet.

Oh, cool. I just realized tomorrow is Friday.
Think I'll get a BIY pizza. That's Bake-It-Yourself.
Not Bacon-IceCream-Yam.
Or Buffalo-IrishCoffee-Yak.

Would that be redundant? Buffalo and Yak?
Kinda like having meatballs and hamburger on your pizza?
Hmmmmm.

It's later than I thought. My feet hurt. Not that has anything to do with it being late.
But I will say, it is time to get my aching feet in bed.
And the rest of me too.
Night-night, Drifters.
If I don't "see" y'all, have a great weekend.

P.S. How do you tell you've italicized spaces?

That was cool, thanks. Guess I'll have to have a little snort of Southern Comfort, only for medicinal purpose, to help my knees and hip feel better after the hike you just took us on. I have to carry Arthur and Itis everywhere I go and they like it. Do it again this spring, bet it's really pretty then.

Nice hike, my knee's are killing me, after burning off all those calories, I think it's time to get something to eat.

I can tell I'm heavier than I was last year. If I keep hiking, I'll work that winter weight off.

That first section is steep.
Sorry to hear about your loss.

Yup, got it in both my knees. Can't push it like I used to.
You gave me an idea, I'll make a playlist of hikes through the year.
We're gonna get more biking in this year too.

Like I tell people, "deep breaths, don't pant like a dog."
It really does help.

Heh heh, too much pasta. Get back to basics, eat more buffalo. I would but its readily available here much, mainly at gun shows.
