This Young Lady Takes Smith & Wesson to the ATM
Saw this on another site, thought you might enjoy it !
She has NEVER had any problems.
Smith is on the left, Wesson on the right.

she'll never be able to control them if they ever wrongfully key onto someone... heck she's not big enough to hold even one of them back if it gets going... The old rule was that you had to weigh twice as much as your dog to hold them back if they went full tilt...looks good.. but it is very dangerous to bystanders.

several years ago a woman lawyer in Calif had several of these type dogs that she used to intimidate her neighbors & others... Sure enough, one morning the 2 dogs attacked a woman neighbor & killed her.. she was unable to control even one of the dogs when it was attacking much less 2 of them going full tilt... If I remember right...She was mixed up with a bad convict who had part ownership of the dogs & she got hard time out of this attack....
Do not own dogs you cannot control... We used to have a Sch trained Doberman import police dog back in the late 1979... mid 1980's..absolute control of a working dog is a must...The picture of the lady with the two dogs is a tragedy waiting to happen.... I hope a bystander is armed to save the victim.

Can you imagine what would happen to her if they both decided to chase a car or another animal? It would resemble being dragged by a horse.

I got the fun in this....
Cute. Maybe she's used to having them with her when they go out. They look well behaved and not excitable to me.
Nothing tells us whether they are vicious or cupcakes or even how well trained except that they're good sized dogs. Probably the picture is posed.
The spike collar replacement for choke chains controls big dogs pretty well if you practice with them so they learn not to strain.

I've never seen such a large and distinctive chest mark on any animal.
Is that 'thingy' around her waist a holster? Oh, I hope so.

Wow....this thread jumps from a nice pic to a conclusion by some that the public is in danger because the lady can't control her dogs.....All this from one picture, without any other proof what-so-ever!!!! How absurd!!

That was in San Francisco. Both the female lawyer and her husband, also a lawyer were tried, I don't remember the specific charges, convicted and received prison terms. As to be expected both appealed their convictions. I have no idea how that ended up. I did though get a great deal of enjoyment in watching the female reduced to tears and complete terror when her sentence was read.
The partner of the lady killed sued the owner of the apartment building and was awarded a LARGE sum of money.

I agree with the use of the spike collar.
I have a dog bigger than these and she is well controlled using a spike collar. I am not afraid to take her anywhere. The dog has to be properly trained. Mine is an excellent watchdog and she knows the meaning of the word "friend!"

They were idiots and deserved what they got. Diane Whipple died because of their ignorance. The dog had been ill-raised and ill-treated by prior owners, who IIRC were tweaker clients of theirs. It was a Presa, which is a large Molosser breed. (As is, apparently, the dog with the white blaze in the photo - looks like a DDB with docked ears.)
Nothing wrong with a Presa, but they are big and strong, and not for inexperienced owners, which these buffoons were. Thrown in the bad upbringing, AND what was later learned is that there was a genetic tendency to instability in one of the dog's over-bred male ancestors (sire or grandsire, I can't recall), and a hell of a mess was almost a certainty.
Owning a big dog for serious purposes is not for the unprepared. Kind of like owning firearms for serious purposes. Quality costs, but is not optional. Likewise, the mindset required is just not the average person's cup of tea. Being armed and all the decisions that go with that are the first priority in everything you do, and must be - likewise responsibility with a large potentially aggressive dog. That beast in my avatar is not muzzled for show. I tolerate no foolishness with him. Period.

1. I agree that you should never own a pet you cannot beat up, for safety sake.
2. For the sake of a cool picture, thumbs up.

Are you questioning the way we do things around here?
Agree on the spiked training collar.

Wow, didn't expect this much response. I posted this just for the 'humor' value not to discuss control of dogs. This shot was probably posed, but I don't know. As I mentioned I found it on another site. In my book, if it is for real it's a "Hold my beer and watch this" moment !
