Default ME TV and Henry

I really like watching the old shows on ME TV. I find it interesting that lately, Henry Repeating Arms is doing a lot of advertising on this channel. Anybody else notice this?

Most (if not all) gun advertising I see is only on during hunting or fishing shows, and on an "outdoor" channel. I figure that Henry is advertising to older folks like me that watch this channel nostalgically, yearning for the older western shows and movies, where lever action guns prevail.

I will start paying more attention to what shows they are advertising on. It may only be westerns, but maybe not! I like it anyway.

I haven't. I watch ME TV all the time for same reason. I'm on the left coast, I wonder if this has anything to it?

A funny story. When my oldest daughter was in a stroller I bought a Henry lever .22 for her to have an heirloom specifically for her. I've done this for her siblings too. When I took the rifle to the counter to pay a lady got in line behind us. The clerk mentioned to her that this gentleman was purchasing a firearm and he recommended that she take another line as it will take a little time to fill out the paperwork. The lady's face was shocked and then indignant. I told her it was a present for my newborn daughter while I looked down at her in her stroller adoringly.
