Default Craig Spegel (?) grips

I have a set of grips that appear to be J frame round butt combat style in Rosewood. Inside of the left grip are the initials CAS in a box. Inside the right panel is a signature in gold that looks like Craig Spegel and the date 2003. Anyone have any info on these? thanks, Ken

Here's what they look like on a 625 Mountain Gun, a 638 and a 317.

I don't know anything about them, history of the maker, do they have any value? I don't have a J frame round butt. Keep or sell/ give away?

For me, Craig makes the best fitting grips for my hands, bar none.
Yes they have value, post a pic and you'll get a better idea.

Last I heard Spegel is backlogged about 6-8 months....have to echo latter13's comments.............................

As to value...... IIRC

Grips start at IIRC about $60 for plain black walnut---- to several hundred dollars....... depending on wood checkering etc.

The only problem with his grips is getting a set of them when you need another set.
