Hairy Bikers. Great TV show. Harleys, travelin', great food, and some huntin'.
I guess this show no longer exists but I found some episodes. It's two Texas friends who are just fun loving guys riding bikes around looking for good stuff to cook and eat. One guy is a chef and the other a Harley mechanic/musician. They do lots of their own hunting for meat in these shows. Here is one about eating road kill. Other episodes available here. too. These are guys who you can tell are fun to hang with. A great escape from all the stuff in the news that's hard to avoid.

I recall watching those shows back in 2011 when I got stuck in the hospital for a coupla weeks. Fun stuff!
I like the one were they go nutria hunting, zooming around the swamp and blasting away. Just goes to show that what my wife says about escargot and me is true: Put enough butter and garlic on anything and people will eat it!

I met a couple of the guys in Portland, Maine several years ago. I was in an elevator at a hotel with them and we started talking. At the time I had no idea who they were nor had I heard of their show; they were filming a segment of them riding along the coast in Maine. They were super nice people.

We used to have a hunters' dinner on the weekend before the shotgun deer season. Usually there would be some venison brought by one of the bow hunters, who enjoyed an earlier season, but not that year. That is until the scanner was heard directing an officer to a car/deer collision a half-mile away. The guys had it in the yard before the officer called dispatch to ask about the location again, and we were grilling steaks and tenderloins by the time he stopped looking. Delicious!
