New trail cam
I got a new trail cam for Christmas. I have pics of many deer, coyotes, a wolfyote, foxes, a raccoon. This last month the 400lb bear did a one picture photo shoot then left. Darn unions.
I heard a constant screaming one morning at 2 am. I matched up what I heard online it's a fox calling it's mate. Very weird sound.
I have as many animals here as in the national forest.

My 11 year old's and my new favorite hobby is "stalking" critters with our game cameras. We absolutely love ours.

7 Animal Sounds You Might Hear In Your Backyard
Listen to the fox. I was up half wake and heard this go from my front yard around the house into the water shed sounding off the whole way.

Bill,
Those things are the Bee's knees.
I used to put mine out at the end of August and this way
i could watch the Deer mature and the racks grow up until
hunting season.
Always got a lot of "bonus" shots of Racoons, Coyotes, Skunk,
Squirrels, Dogs.
Still looking to catch my first photo of a Squatch though.
Haha

I live on the edge of a hardwood river swamp, barred owls are in my backyard almost every night hunting frogs, I love listening them. You should hear them when they are pissed off at another owl that is not part of their family group and intrudes into their area.

I seen a 16pt buck at 3pm as we were putting our tools away after work about 4 years ago. This buck I estimate between 275/300lbs. He's a big one. I could bow Hun my land but I give him a breeding pass let's spread that DNA. He had ten does with him. Haven't seen him since. We have a good sized 6pt on the trail cam. Mainly does, foxes and Yotes.
During the winter I reported a boar but during a snowstorm it's hard to tell I need more pics of him. But the long jaw was present.

The most interesting pictures I have ever gotten on my cam. Three years ago, a sow and her 4 cubs came by the feeder pole. The very next spring, she brought back the yearlings. We saw all four, but the cam only got three of them one spring night.

We got this nice flying turkey picture recently. I spooked a hen yesterday with 6 poults--I am going to set up a camera this weekend to try to catch them.
