A wife and her kitchen!
My wife's well equipped kitchen. It’s safe the microwave is busted and a new part is coming in a couple days. She took advantage of a good storage space as its only about 10 steps to the side porch.

You must get away with living dangerously. Almost without exception, I am not to set foot in my wifes kitchen. If I do, she has threatened to go down to my shop and paint pink fingernail polish on all of my tools

O we have a good relationship in the kitchen she cooks I eat!

The kitchen belongs to my wife, the rest of the house is ours. If something breaks, I'm allowed in to fix it.

I moved out of our kitchen. I no longer cook anything in there. I use the micro and that's it. I do cook breakfast everyday but I do it on the deck on a Weber grill. Just easier that way. I can cook anything on that grill now. I even have a backup grill in case that one goes down. I could take George Foreman in 3 rounds on a grill.

NYlake.. the ladies have long memories.... just saying hand... after doing that in her kitchen, remember her birthday, your anniversary & never ever call her the wrong name in the middle of the night... I remember hearing about a guy who did that once... I heard that his funeral was so nice...

You guys are a bunch of wimps!
I run the kitchen, I cook, clean and tell her to keep out.
Keeps putting thing in places I can't find them.
My stove, microwave and other devices I have to cook with are under my control or else I won't cook!
Hey, Italians know how to be great chiefs....

In 2010 we demolished the 1904 lean-to kitchen that had been the Carpenter Hotel kitchen and since 1961 the main cooking space in the inn. The counters sloped, the roof leaked, and there was no insulation.
In spring 2011 we finished work on the new kitchen for our B&B, with one remnant of the old one being the wood cook stove on my side of the room. Yip, we've cooked on it. The couple who owned our place from the 60s through the 90s built the "island" and we didn't have the heart to do away with it. It serves as the perfect round-about to control traffic when things get hectic.

This spring I sank about $14K into remodeling the kitchen, including new appliances. Mainly because my wife got tired of everything being Avocado. That was big in the early 1970s when our house was built. I sort of liked the Avocado appliances and countertops but my opinion doesn't mean much to her. It does look better, but it's still much the same kitchen.

Whatever you do don't ever get caught using the wifes tupperware for mixing up your favorite foods or for toe clippings. Use the cheap rubbermaid stuff for that. She has one closet or pantry where she keeps all the tupperware and most of the pots and pans. One day I'm gonna find her buried under all that junk. The way it is now she opens the door and usually something falls out. Frank
