I put one on an old Winchester Model 12 in 16 gauge back in the '70s.
A hunting buddy started calling the Model 12 "The ray gun."

The sight is still on the gun and still working.

I had one on my 870.Used it for deer hunting.Using slugs I killed several through the years with it.This was way back in the 70's.
