Please help, I'm desperate
Any Yahoo users (victims) out there? They have now come up with the ultimtate form of terrorism for the internet. Adds that pop up in your inbox, sent messages and some folders. Add blockers don't work. You can't send them to Spam or delete them and they reduce the size of your screen by half. There are seemingly an infinite number of them from arthritis remedies to any number of products.
Computers have been a love/hate thing for me all along. Sometimes I get so frustrated I feel like tossing my 'puter over the back fence into the neighbors pool. I've almost done it a few times. And lately my frustrations are mounting. I really don't want to give up my computers but I can feel it coming. It's not if but WHEN.
Ive been with yahoo for about 17 or 18 years and they have always tried to enforce their preferences on me. I don't like it and can usually get around them but this time I'm stumped.
Some one please advise me how to get around this. It could be the straw that breaks this camels back!

Are you saying you use Yahoo mail??
If so get rid of them and use another.
What is your ISP service, do they have e mail through them?
Are you sure you do not have malware.spyware, virus??

You're making one BIG mistake, you are using Yahoo and they are the absolute lowest scum of all email services. I have them because I first started using them 20 years ago or so, and some people may still have them as my web address but 99% of my email is through Gmail or Outlook. I check my Yahoo mail maybe once a week and there are 6 or 8 messages in my inbox and about 500 new items in my Spam. I wish I could quarantine all the old and redundant Spam that I get but Yahoo would never allow that, so I just delete all of it usually without even looking at it.

All my e-mail accounts funnel through Apple mail. Prior to Apple, it all funnled through Outlook Express. You don't need to use the general home page and all the garbage that comes along with it to get your Yahoo e-mail. Heck, I haven't logged into the AOL home page for 10 years and that's been my main e-mail account.

Concur with going to GMail. At least they're not quite so blatant about monetizing you.
