Nice find at the Half-Price Book Store today
I stop in every month or so to see if there are any interesting gun books on the shelf. There was one today, the 1995 NRA "Firearm Classics" hard cover reprint of the 1935 Julian Hatcher "Textbook of Pistols and Revolvers." And it looked like the previous owner had never cracked open the covers. For $10, a cheap price. It's a lot more than just a discussion of the various handguns in common use at the time (but there's a lot of that too), and very thick at 527 pages. There's something very nostalgic about reading gun books of that period. And Hatcher's style of writing is very entertaining and informative. Should keep me busy for a few weeks. If you've ever read "Hatcher's Notebook," one of the most interesting gun books you'll ever read, this one is written in the same style.

Hatcher is a great read.
You got a great deal. Check some of the book sellers who specialize in out of print collectable books.
