Default "Bullet Holes" by Douglas B. Wesson - Should I Buy it?

Howdy,

Is an excellent condition first edition of "Bullet Holes" for $100 a good buy? What is the book about? Its sub-title is "A Record of Records" ... is it bunch of stats or is it a readable book? Appreciate any insight you folks can offer.

Here is a copy of that book - copied to the internet. No idea of what an original hard copy is worth, though condition, and having an original dust jacket makes a lot of difference in collectable books.

Nice find! OP: sorry, I can't answer your question as I haven't a clue.

If you want it, it is probably a good deal.

As far as collectability goes, it's a first edition over a hundred years old. It's a niche publication, of course, but if it's in the condition you describe, I'd say yes, it's worth a hundred bucks to serious S&W afficianados. I imagine there would be quite a few members of the SWCA and SWHS who'd love to pay that for an original.

There may have been other editions, reprints, excerpts, etc. But again...a hundred-year-old first edition? Yes, it's worth the price.
