But then again, I didn't drink any less.
I do like my coffee!

Coffee and tea are about the only bad habits I never had. Love the smell of coffee, hate the taste.

The first time that I smelled coffee being roasted, man was I in for a surprise.
I guess that I expected a smell sort of like coffee brewing.
The smell of Coffee roasting is more like a creosote smell.
I forget if was the EPA or local, but somebody required my roaster, Whiting Coffee here in Albuquerque
to install a 'stack' which has added fresh air.

I've had exactly one cup of coffee my entire life, and that was pretty much under duress.
Never had a need nor desire for it.
Just as well I moved out of country, eh? (But, I do not consider myself unAmerican).

When I watch re-runs of, Blue Heelers, the cops in the next state over from you (Victoria) sometimes drink coffee, sometimes tea.
I guess that both are popular in Australia?
On, Sea Patrol, when they have a cuppa on the bridge of the patrol boat, they usually call it a "brew." Presumably tea.
Here, a famous donut shop chain was giving away a cup of coffee and a free donut. Saw that on TV, when they announced National Coffee Day.
I once published an article on coffee in the food section of a major SW newspaper. It was fun to research. I got samples at a specialty coffee shop that ground their own beans, from many countries.
I thought of writing a similar article on tea, but if you work all the buttons on the Twining's site, you'd learn most of what I could say, despite my having read a book or two on tea and drinking a lot. www.twinings.com They sell Online in the USA and many supermarkets carry the brand. I also like tea from Taylor's of Harrogate. Both brands carry Royal Warrants of appointment to furnish tea to the Queen and the Royal Household. Taylor's supplies Prince Charles. Harrogate is about 14 miles from York.
My favorite coffee is the Columbia Supremo blend. It is an Arabica coffee bean, grown in Columbia. Most commercial coffee uses a lot of the cheaper Caffea robusta bean, and comes from Brazil and Indonesia. Red Lobster cheapened their coffee several years ago. It 's so bad that I quit ordering it. When I eat there, I order iced tea. My favorite waitress confirmed the change in the coffee, citing economic problems in the restaurant chain. Actually, good restaurant coffee is increasingly rare. Many younger customers don't drink it.

Ditto! If you took all the coffee I've consumed in my life and put it in a cup, it wouldn't be half full. Nor do I care for anything with coffee flavor. Yuck.

Whiting Coffee, a family owned and operated roaster here in Albuquerque does sell tea.
They sell high quality fresh roasted coffee from around the world.
They also sell high quality packaged and loose tea from a number of places.
They have so many teas they are printed on a page.
Too many to put up on the menu board.
So not only is their coffee selection way better than down at the grocery, the same can be said for their tea.
I am a coffee drinker, I prefer the African coffees.

Coffee! The elixir of life! I was in the Air Force and got out. Went into the Army later and had to do Army boot camp with a bunch of 18 and 19 year olds (and the usual Drill Sgt's). I had always liked coffee, but it became a sudden "requirement" for survival!
P.S.-The question always arises why I went into the Army after the AF? At the time the AF didn't accept prior service, even their own.

Meh, every day is coffee day at my house. I am happy to observe it 365 days a year. Now Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc are holidays that we all love to celebrate with family and friends and enjoy each others company for the time. But I am happy to secretly enter that dark place in my morning where I revel in a nice buzzy caffeine glow. Coffee is my cocaine.

Love strong coffee. If I ever need an IV in a hospital, I'll request coffee. Larry

I am often vilified for two reasons: I don't drink coffee...and I don't eat bacon. I do like revolvers. I hope that mitigates a bit of everyone's disdain toward me.

I love my coffee, that reminds me I will need to roast some coffee before going to bed, Colombian, Mexican, or Brazilian? Or I could do a blend. Decisions.

I cherish my morning coffee! The Wife and I have been brewing the morning Joe in either a Presto 12 cup electric Perk or 8 cup Stove Top Perk for many many years now (probably 35 or so) and would NEVER NEVER go back to the cheap "Mr. Coffee" luke warm drippers.
We have been using the 8 O'clock Columbian Peaks and find that it is superior to most of the Supermarket brands - at least for our taste.
When out & about McDonalds actually makes a pretty good cup a joe and seems to be fairly consistent from place to place. DD is just OK, and we are NOT Starbucks fans.
