Say hello to the newest.
This is Ginger 8 weeks.
Rescue dog from a litter of ten pups.
She is already taking a liking to "Festus" the Cat.

To live a dogs life......

congrats to your lady & you on picking a nice pup. Looking at the paws, I think it's going to be a larger dog.... it sure looks to be happy & content.

Thanks guys.
She will be about the size of a Collie if she gets to her
mommas size.
She is adjusting well to the wife and I.
She took her first trip to the "park" with the rest of the gang
this week.
She will have a good home with us.

Chuck

Claw mark.....
In Gingers defense my wife is on blood thinners.
If she gets a minor scrape it look like she has been mauled
by a Grizzly. Bruises very easy.

Good looking pup. She already has a satisfied face.

A boy and his pup, the real never ending story, no matter how old you are.

Uh oh. Big trouble in little Ks. We bought a registered Brown female Lab pup and are supposed to pick it up the 29th. My wife told me on her way out the door for work tonight that we will be in STL for our God daughters wedding.

My daughter is in the wedding, oh me oh my, decisions. Can the wife and Daughter go without me? Can I go get the new pup?

Stay tuned next week for the exciting end to this one.
Will Little orphan Annie clobber Flash Gordon?
Will the pup have to hoof it home by it's little self?

Why do young people decide to get married and set a date without asking anyone if it's ok? Why doesn't everyone get married on the Friday before Jan 1st? Make it a holiday. No more trotting off to see 29 nephews get married all over all year long. Nope they'd all be in one spot. With technology just skype the whole thing. We can sit in our underwear drinking beer. Do I have a 2nd on this motion?

What a cliff hanger model70hunter. Be sure and let us know the rest
of the story.

Ginger has a very intelligent look, and a happy look.

We will, of course, require regular photo updates on Ginger during her puppyhood and as she grows up.

She's quite a looker. Love her markings, and the white boots. I'd say she's settling in very well.

What a real beauty! Absolute sucker here for collies in general and that sort of colouration in particular - hope you all have great times together.

Ginger looks like she might have some Aussie in her. (Only way to tell for sure is if the tail has been docked. Otherwise she could be any flavor of mutt.) I have always been partial to the red merles.

Blessings upon you for the rescue. I suspect Ginger is her own reward. Other than that, she does deserve an "Awww" - cute dog.

And bless you and your wife for the rescue. Rescue dogs are the best, whether puppies or aduts.

Orphan Annie won. When I presented the problem this morning she had contacted the breeder to keep the pup over the weekend. I guess it's a Tie, monkey suit, sit and smile....
