Default Oregon's Official State Rifle

I just read that the AR 15 has just been adopted by Oregon as its "Official State Rifle".

It probably had something to do with the inventor's name being Eugene Stoner...

Both. It was just a goofy thought I had, I wasn't sure if I should keep it to myself. There are others here who have even more twisted senses of humor than mine, so I knew it wouldn't go completely un-appreciated!

And now the protest will begin in Oregon, provided that the protesters are paid $15.00 per hour.

I think the AR-15/M-16 has replaced the 03A3 as America's unofficial rifle. We have the first generation to grow up with Legos reach retirement, and they have started to have fun snapping accessories on their M-4 clones! (Not to mention, 50 years of veterans that were trained on them.)

There is probably no truth to the rumor that Massachusetts is adopting the Super Squirter. With a reduced-capacity water tank.
