Default You never know what you might Find

I went to an Estate auction about a month ago. Not in the best part of town, but not in the worst. Mainly killing time. The man was obviously a gun collector and I think he favored S&W. Anyway, I bought several boxes
of gun stuff so cheap I won't say here how much I paid. One of the Items was this Book. History of Smith & Wesson by Roy G. Jinks.
I started reading today. As I read I came across these two items.
One a Application for Membership to the S&W Collectors Asso.
and the other was a flyer or insert for the S&W Md. 32-38 Terrier
MD. 33 38 Regulation Police.

As I read the membership requirement I could not help but smile.
It is nice to be held to a higher standard, and I bet it used to be a privilege
to be a member of this wonderful organization.

Time brings by change. Not always for the betterment of men.

The S&WCA is still alive and doing well. Go to the home page here on this forum, scroll down and all the information is still there for application. You are welcome to join too.
