Mix dump=Swiss army knife?
I've been told more than once that my thinking is a might peculiar. While I was fixing the box this morning, I thought "another peculiar idea." I've had this box probably 25 years or more, kept in the glove box of several trucks. It originally contained 158 gr copper plated lead .357 mag ctgs. Since it was empty I've been throwing "odds and ends" leftover ammo in it. Currently, .22 lr, .22 mag, .25acp, .380acp, 9mm, .40SW, .45acp, .38spl, .44mag, even 4 rds of .32 S&W that I have no idea whence it came. Useful? Last trip to the gunshow, my friend the doc goes to secure his weapon and extra mag. Notices only 2 rds of .40 in it. Whip out this box and fill it on the spot. Yesterday I'm talking to a retired fireman friend about guns and he describes his "mom's gun," an almost NIB SW Model 43. "I gotta get ammo for it" he says. After refusing my buy offer, I dig out 15 or so .22lr's and hand them over. You'd think it was Christmas. Another time it was .380 for an Excam of some flavor and a few .22mags for a 2 shot derringer. Maybe I am daft but it's going back where it belongs shortly. Joe

Would love a picture of model 43. Had one many years ago and is at the top of my "Wish I didn't sell list"

Precisely. You have me almost convinced I'm too limited. Lunchbox is a bit large and finding another 20th century 2 piece cardboard box for rifle rounds might be a challenge. Joe

Every once in a while I find some ammo for something that I no longer know for sure what it is. Usually waste a hour or so figuring it out! I like the throw it all in a ammo dump idea!

It's coming. The box is on its' last "refurbish." One end flap is gone over 10 years. Funny about stupid things I don't want to part with, every piece of junk has a story that goes with it. Joe
