Hi. Has anyone seen or heard from Susieqz lately? I have been unable to get the search function to work to see if she has posted lately.

I sure hope she's OK...living out there on the High Plains, with just her trusty Model 15 to protect her!!! Heck, the wind and ice storms have been active out there too. I'll see if I can have any better luck tracking her down...

I , like soFlaNative, have been trying to reach timn8er for months. He has had some major health issues and we are worried. He lives with his infirm dad and his mom is in a nursing home.

Sorry to stray but lets keep a BOLO out on both Tim and Susie.

Well, maybe we can throw dabney (David Abney) in to the mix as well. I have not heard from him since shortly after he retired from his police job. I know that he didn't really want to retire, but he was coming up on a mandatory retirement age. I hope that all of the folks are doing well, and miss seeing their posts.

She was on today at 5:56 but hasn't posted since October 31 2016.

Thanks all for your assistance. The good folks here have become, in part, my second family. I hate losing friends in the shooting community, there just aren't that many of us around!

it brot a tear to my eye when i saw you guys cared where i was.
i love you all n this is the best online group i've ever seen.
i miss you all.

i was just gone because management doesn't care for me.
i posted a long post i thot you'd enjoy on october 31.
they disappeared it, which was very hurtful.
so, not feeling welcome, i stopped coming around.

Hey, susie!!! We all get dinged and disappeared from time to time!! It's nothing personal, they don't not like you....welcome back!! We want to know how you're doing with that Model 15!!! They say to beware of the person who only has one gun, because they will really know how to use it. Well, I remember that you have some others, but that is your favorite.

Don't think for a minute that we don't care for you or our other regulars. We're charged with enforcing the rules that are designed to keep this board civil and avoid contentious topics. I can't tell you how many time I've agreed with a post 100% and had to take action.

That's what we want to hear!!! You know, and I've probably told you this before, if you're only going to have one S&W, the Model 15, or its named predecessor , the "Combat Masterpiece" is the one to have!!! Great gun. Air Force security folks used them for years, and we're very happy with them.

Hope you're still saving those empties!! I'll bet you have plenty by now. Don't worry if you haven't started reloading yet, that brass will keep as long as you store it properly.

Just hang on to them for now. They are like money in the bank. We'll help figure something out later!!! For example, years ago a buddy gave me a couple thousand empty 9mm cases. I didn't even have a 9mm at the time, but knowing myself, I knew that eventually I would, so I put them away. Just before Christmas, I finally succumbed to the desire to buy a CZ75, a 9mm. I'll probably load a few hundred rounds this winter in order to play with the CZ when the weather warms up.

If a board is to run as well as this one does, mods often have to do things they may not want to do. From what I've seen and experienced, the mods here are very fair in enforcing the rules for everyone. I serious doubt there is any one here who posts frequently who hasn't been dinged, self included.

I can see where inquiries about individuals can go south i.e. why some more than others when people pass in and out of our realms each and every day. Simple idle curiosity about some of the things that tangle within my beer soaked brain cells sometimes drives me to distraction.

Closing in on 3 score and 10, I am of the mind that NOTHING else matters at this stage but health. Not travel, possessions, things, nothing is enjoyable if you don't feel good. My shooting friends are the best medicine in the world for me.
