Default Coon Creek Bridge

I've traveled across this bridge a hundred times, but around daybreak this morning I found it particularly mesmerizing with John Denver on the radio singing "Country Roads".

I worked for John once and he seemed to be nice down to earth character.

Faulkner, your photo almost looks like a painting. The lighting on the bridge is just perfect. It would make a great puzzle. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the proof that it takes more than
good timing for a great result.
Got to have the skill and where with all to make it happen.

Every time I see or hear "Coon Creek" I think about a split bamboo fly rod I resurrected. It is marked "Coon Creek". It was sad, warped, half the guides missing, reel seat broken, cork grip in bad shape. I was able to straighten it, install new grip & reel seat as well as new guides. I have fished it several times and it is one of my favorite rods to throw dry flies. Is not much heavier than my Boron Fenwick.
