I've got 5 # in the freezer. I buy 2 pkgs, whenever it goes on sale to keep the supply up.

I wish all of these hamburger joints would quit putting bacon on every damn sandwich, a waste of good bacon in my opinion , they're just trying to cover up for cheap hamburger.

There's a bacon reserve near me. Kids get in free but they have to stay in the car at all times.

It's no accident folks. China has created a Strategic Pork Reserve, and is hoarding pork. They paid 5 billion dollars for America's Smithfield Foods, the worlds largest pork producer, and have diverted a larger percentage of goods to China.

Why China keeps a giant stockpile of frozen pork - The Washington Post

What's wrong with using feral hogs? Doesn't seem to be a shortage of them.

^^^^^^ What he said. I don't suppose those folks talking about the pork shortage have seen the thousands of feral hogs tearing up the southern states.

so now,
some folks will go stock up, a multi year supply.
others will find the shelves empty.
then others will panic n buy everything they see.
old guys with nothing to do will line up at the store just before deliveries.
then they will sell it at a big profit.
then, processors won't be able to keep up with demand.
retailers will see they can raise prices.
prices will go up n never get back to normal.
such fun.....

Feral hogs have very little belly fat.

Here's the wife and I prepping for the shortage.

If my state would stop treating feral pigs like game animals it would solve a lot of problems.

The government has three large hidden warehouses!
One for alien stuff, one for .22rf, one for bacon!
Indiana Jones has found the one for alien stuff, and is to old now to search for the other two!
Its true cause I saw it in the moves, and read about it on the net!

BTW, Jimmy Hoffa is the warehouse manager of one, but no one knows which one!
