Default First Hike of 2017

It was a nice warm mid-winter day so we went for a nice hike in the mountains.
It was a short hike but it was still nice to get out.

Thanks for sharing with us, Snubby! I was out yesterday as well. 75 degrees over here in North Central WV... Crazy weather. Good to be able to spend some time outside, though.

Best Regards, Les

Well, it was 75 here yesterday, going to be 18 tomorrow night, and unknown inches of snow tonight!!! Just crazy weather for us. We have a "winter weather advisory" on for tonight into 11:00 am tomorrow, Snubby (Eastern Panhandle) may get even more snow than we (North Central WV) do!! Must be nice down there in the Lone Star State!!!

Best Regards, Les

Yup, down to 16 and up to 4 inches of snow tonight, might skip the Y tomorrow. Then up to the mid 50's by Saturday and near 70 on Sunday.
Wacky weather indeed.

Very refreshing Snubby. Thanks. Thanks to you and your great videos I get to "get out" and hike through the woods vicariously and never have to take my jammies off.

We had two days in the mid 20s and now it's looking a lot like summer. Been in the mid 80s for 2 or 3 weeks now. I'm back into cutoff jeans, take tops and flip-flops. Sigh.....

I enjoy your hikes. Looks like Mama's knee is doing real well after that wreck. Been in the mid 70's here the past couple of days. I spent them cleaning up my yard getting ready for spring.

Her knee's still a bit puffy but feels fine. The guy at the physical therapy center said it'll be a while for the puffiness to go away.

Rt. 51 Old Town Maryland.
It's the Paw Paw Tunnel parking area.

It's not online, it's an old family recipe.
She said she can type it up for ya. It's kinda complicated.
I might just post it as a thread on the forum.
