Thee look like shims for "Bedroom" or any other household door. Most of the carpenters I know use the box the hinges came in.

Default Close..REAL Close...But No Cigar

I know that y'all think these are Hinge Shims, and that's a good guess, but actually they are readily identifiable as Thingamabobs. Which of course are the Doo-Dads that fit snugly between the Whatchamacallits and the Doohickeys.

I was thinking that they looked like the things that go between my wife's toes when she has her toenails done but they have more slots....

....but the ridges don't look like something made to take much pressure, but a spacer doesn't HAVE to have a lot of pressure on it so it may be so. They look like they were made to slide over some guide rods or sumpin'.
