I've had a couple messages lately asking why I haven't been posting, where's the usual snarky comment, etc.
It's all the record player's fault.
I recently started buying/collecting/etc. LPs, not unlike another (cough) collecting practice. While this has cut into my S&W discretionary funds, I don't need an auxiliary safe
The library is currently in excess of 100 records, featuring some rare(ish) Pink Floyd bootlegs.
Anyway, there I am, reading the Forum, listening and thinking (no gum chewing, 'tho) and the record comes to the end of the side. By the time I've gotten up, turned down the volume, put the tonearm back on the rest, flipped over the record, used the record brush and anti-static gun, restarted the turntable, lowered the tone arm, carefully lowered the dust cover, turned up the volume, returned to the chair, iPad and bourbon, I'm exhausted. Meanwhile, the comedic train of thought has left the station.
I hear those 8-track thingies are a big improvement.
