Default It's RAINING!!

Now I know for some of y'all rain ain't such a big deal! Where I live in Wyoming it is. We usually get 4 to 4 1/2 inches of rain(and snow water) in a year. Went to Billings yesterday and picked up my sister at the airport. Left home and it was 52 degrees. Got to half way to Bridger Mt(35 miles) and it was 32 and snowing. Did clear off on the way back. But started raining again last night... and the ol rain gauge says just shy of 2 1/2 inches since 2000 hours last night. If'n it don't quit soon them mountains across the way are gonna be mole hills. Counting the snow melt etc we've gotten 7 inches of moisture this year. Not REALLY complaining but one of the reasons I moved here was to NOT have to cut grass as much. I guess this is caused by global warming Heck I went to the weather app on this computer and the picture on the page is a drownded daffodil

Good you are getting wanted rain. Doubt So. Missouri would agree to want more rain. Myself I'm getting a little tired of it too. Not large amounts here but just keeps being rainy and cold & dreary. 29 degrees this morning, too cold for farm field planting or gardening. I want Spring!

I live in the middle of a swamp. So far April has registered 0.0" for April. I know, global warming. Joe

Rain beats snow any day, in my book at least! I've never had to shovel rain.

About two inches of wet snow here in Da U.P.
Been happening about once every 10 days lately.
General trout season is supposed to open Saturday.
It's gonna be a bit less fun than I thought it would be
if the snow hangs around.

I guess you don't have to do a lot of grass cutting!

Just a typical April around here where everyone tries to second guess Mother Nature...Trees are blooming and flowers are being planted.Sprinkler systems turned on.

Middle of the month brought temps mid 70's to near 80 degrees. Now we're looking at overnight temps in the high 20's to low 30's.They're predicting rain turning to snow tonight with possible heavy (wet) snow all day Saturday.

Could be a lot of damage from this late weather pattern. You try to prep your lawn or garden and possibly see it all go for naught. You wait it out and face the wrath of the evil ones from your HOA for getting a late start.

It ain't climate change...It's Mother Nature and she's a fickle woman not to be messed with.

Well we had a little rain..little snow and tomorrow the sun is gonna be shining.. I hope. Friend of mine who lives on the Southfork down from Cody had 9 inches of snow with half melting today, Had over 400 head of elk on his little place(18 acres)..more'n 200 eating all the grass they could paw down to in his yard round the house. The mountain across from the house here had snow again down to 5000 ft. Another friend is a caretaker for house up on the mountains and he told me today there is more than 10 ft on the level at the house. Next week when it warms up the cricks streams and rivers are gonna be overflowing.. No I don't have to cut grass very often. I was cutting 8-10 acres back in Maryland and we were getting 45 inches of rain a year..That sucked

Looks like they blew the forecast for metro Denver. Most of the snow hit in the south/southeast of Colorado last night.Still getting flurries here but nothing is sticking on the roads or sidewalks.

Pretty normal in the Midwest. No rain for months, and water table low, then a deluge for several days and flooding. Pretty usual. That's why we build high up, good drainage and no flooding. 2.42" yesterday and .45" so far today.
